PRESS RELEASE: Paoli Furniture Named A 2006 OFDA Dealer’s Choice Award Winner
ORLEANS, IN, JUNE 12, 2006 — Paoli Furniture received a prestigious award for outstanding sales and marketing performance from the trade association for office furniture dealers. Representatives of the Office Furniture Dealer Alliance presented a 2006 Dealer’s Choice Award to Paoli in the company’s furniture showroom at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart.
Earlier this year, the Office Furniture Dealer Alliance (OFDA) sent dealers a survey designed to identify the issues of greatest importance to successfully operating an office furniture dealership. Then, because dealerships typically sell products from more than one manufacturer, the survey would also identify “best in class” performance by a manufacturer.
In accepting the Dealer’s Choice Award for sales and marketing, Tom Tolone, President of Paoli Inc., said, “We care about the success of our dealers. Providing them with the tools and the programs they need to succeed is a priority. Our dealer relationships remain strong due to our dealers’ knowledge that we’re here to help their businesses grow.” Mr. Tolone concluded, “We are sincerely grateful to the OFDA for this significant recognition.”
The OFDA sponsors the annual Dealer Satisfaction Index Survey that asks dealers to rank 46 business issues in six categories: training, product lines, service and support, sales and marketing, management, and technology.
In evaluating those manufacturers considered a dealership’s primary suppliers, the dealers ranked performance using two criteria: satisfaction and importance. A five-point scale was used. More than 480 verified responses were received with 50 manufacturers receiving evaluations.
